02-28-2006 Last day of February already. I
don't know where the days have gone really. Work seemed to fly by,
probably cause it was super busy. I had a presentation at Case Western
Reserve University which I think went alright. I could have been a little
more rehearsed, but I wasn't. After getting back to work to wrap things up
I left a little early since I needed to get home to change and get to the bar
with Matt for Mardi Gras and Two Skinny Dorks. We had a good time being
out, even though it was a little bit dull of a night. I guess you will
have that from time to time.
02-27-2006 Today was very busy as I spent more
time on my presentation for tomorrow at Case. Hopefully I will
be prepared and do a decent job. I also had to pickup Lewis at
the airport so that took a little time as well. So it was a
pretty long day at work after. At home, mostly trying to get my
stuff together and getting ready for tomorrow.
02-26-2006 Some how I managed to wake up early
and relax a little before heading to work for a couple of hours to get
caught up on some stuff. I didn't stay too late so that was good
as I wanted to get home and relax a little. I have a
presentation that I am giving at Case on Tuesday as well. Should
be interesting to see how it goes.
02-25-2006 I stopped at the dry cleaners and
they found my suit this time. I am glad they did, since they
never called like they said they would. Oh well. After getting
my suit, I headed back home to get ready for my fraternity's dinner.
I haven't been out to campus in a while so it was good to be out there
and dinner at Trattoria was very good. After that I hung out at
the house for a while talking to everyone that I haven't seen lately.
It was a good time. The picnic in May should be good as well.
02-24-2006 After work I stopped to get my suit
and shirt at the dry cleaners and they of course could not find it.
So that sucked. I will have to stop back out here tomorrow
before I head to campus for our alumni event and hopefully they will
have found it by then. After work I swung by Around the Corner
to get dinner and make sure everything was OK from Tuesday night and
it was. So that was good. After that I stopped at Pug
Mahones to see 2 Skinny Dorks. The full band was there and a few
people I know where there as well, so that was cool. The
bartenders were pretty crappy since it was so busy, so I didn't stick
around long and head back home. Guess it was a decently fun
night.
02-23-2006 I ended up working a little later
than I thought I would so by the time I got to the dry cleaners they
had closed. I guess I can swing by after work and pick up my
suit tomorrow. Hopefully there will not be any problems.
Not much really happening at home, thing are just busy as usual.
02-22-2006 This morning was a little rough since
it was a little on the later side by the time we got out of the bar.
But it was a good day just the same and I didn't really have any
meetings either. I caught up on a few things for Scouts, but
that was about it other than relaxing tonight.
02-21-2006 Work went by pretty quickly with
everything that is going on. So that was cool and I was about to
leave at 5 PM like I needed to. I got home and printed up some
signs and got to Around the Corner about 7 PM to get ready for
everything. Things went really well guest bartending and had a
blast doing it. Bob got totally hammered near the end of the
night. Hopefully he is still alive tomorrow. Taco Bell
should have helped. We raised $500 for the Fight Against Breast
Cancer so that was great. Thank you to everyone who donated!!!
02-20-2006 Work was busy, but a regular day
since I needed to get home and do some shopping. I bought some
beads and some leis for tomorrow night. Oh yeah, guess I should
tell you what is going on. Matt, Joe, Bob and I are guest
bartending again at Around the Corner. We are raising money for
Breast Cancer. It should be a good time. We had a lot of
fun when we did it last year.
02-19-2006 So I slept in a little and did some
stuff around the house. Caught up on some TV that I haven't seen
this week and did some emails for Scouts. Not all that exciting
really, but stuff that needed to get done.
02-18-2006 Not much really happening today.
I am sure it should have been more productive. At night we went
down to McCarthy's to meet some people out. It was a good time
hanging out and the band was not too bad either. Some drama
happened, but that is life....got to grow up and move on.......or well
least keep trying to even if it is tough.
02-17-2006 I had my team meeting this morning
and it went pretty well. Hopefully my team keeps learning stuff
from our discussions and presentation. I didn't work too late
and instead headed home to relax and get out of the office for a
little while. It was a pretty good plan as I got to relax at
home and take care of a few things that I needed to.
02-16-2006 Work was not as long as yesterday so
that was good. Course part of that time was being out with some
of customers were in for training. It was a busy day with a
couple of meetings and trying to keep up with everything. Guess
that is the way it goes. Had to work on some more stuff for
Scouts and probably going to have do some stuff this weekend as well.
Probably won't be too bad though.
02-15-2006 Pay day! It is always a fun day
unless I have spent everything that I made already, but usually the
middle of the month I still have a few pennies. If I save up a dollar
I can maybe make a phone call. I did a little for Scouts
tonight, but not too much really, since I worked late.
